NOTES

  • If your system has a Sync Failuresynchronize it with Remote Services manually.
  • If you want to sync user data from multiple systems at once, see the FAQ How do I Sync Users for all the locations in my account?
  • The buttons on your device or browser may differ slightly from those pictured here.
  • The  and  buttons discussed here affect only the system currently selected on the browser or mobile device where you’re working. These options take less time than syncing with multiple systems.

On iPhone

  • If your account has more than one Location,select the one where you want to Sync or refresh status information.
  • Next, touch More  on the bottom menu
  • Select  My Location
  • You may have to scroll down to the SYNC buttons and the REFRESH STATUS button:
  • Touch SYNC USERS or SYNC PANEL
  • You are prompted to check your system’s Event Log and verify that sync was successful. If you want to do that, touch  

If your system panel and the Remote Service display different status information:

  • Follow the steps above and touch 

On iPad

  • If your account has more than one Location, select the one where you want to Sync or refresh status information.
                 
  • Next, touch More  on the bottom menu
  • Select  My Location
  • You may have to scroll down to the SYNC buttons and the REFRESH STATUS button:
  • You are prompted to check your system’s Event Log and verify that sync was successful. If you want to do that, touch

  • Follow the steps above and touch 

    On the Android app

    • On the Home screen, use the  menu...
    • ...to select  Settings
    • Select Locations
    • Select Location Settings
    • Select the Location where you want to Sync or refresh status information
    • Depending on the size of your screen, you may have to scroll down to the SYNC and REFRESH buttons:
    • Touch or
    • You are prompted to check your system’s Activity Log and verify that sync was successful. If you want to do that, touch

  • Follow the steps above and touch 

    On the Website

    To start a User Sync only

    • Click on the left hand menu
    • On the users list, click the sync   button at upper right and choose whether you want to synchronize user information at all your account's locations, or just one at a time.
    • If you choose a single location, you’ll see User sync process has been initiated. You can then visit the Events page to confirm the operation’s status.
    • If you choose All Locations, you are prompted to check your system’s Event Log and verify that sync was successful. If you want to do that, touch GO TO EVENTS.

    NOTE:

    The Events page displays information for the location that is currently selected in the upper right corner of the page. Keep this in mind if you want to review the Events log after syncing users at a different location than the one selected at the top of the page.

    To start Panel Sync or User Sync

    • Click  on the left-hand menu
    • On the Locations list, click a location's down arrow to open its settings. (You can also click EXPAND ALL to open the settings for all of your account’s locations.)
    • Click OK
    • Click SYNC USERS or SYNC PANEL
    • You are prompted to check your system’s Event Log and verify that sync was successful. If you want to do that, touch .

    • Follow the steps above and touch .
