Your Remote Service system offers remote control of Z-Wave devices such as switches, locks and garage door openers.

Z-Wave devices must first be set up in the system’s control panel; refer to the panel’s documentation for instructions on how to ‘Include’ them.  After the device has been incorporated into your system, you can choose from a variety of icons to represent it on the Remote Service display.

NOTE: When a device is first added to your system, it may not appear immediately on the app or website. You may need to refresh your browser or start a Panel Sync between the Remote Service and your system (see the FAQ What does Synchronizing mean in Remote Services? for more information).

Operating Z-Wave devices

Each device is represented by a user-selected icon.

This icon can also appear on lights controlled by a dimmer switch. You can click and drag the slider knob  to change the level of brightness. You can also directly click the words OFF or ON to turn off the device or set it to maximum brightness without the slider.

Other Z-Wave device icons

The Remote Service also displays device status icons such as Low Battery.
