Email Notifications and Push Notifications alert you to events of your choosing that occur in your security system.
The two types of notification are completely independent; you can elect to receive either or both.
Email Notifications (including SMS/text messages)
These notifications can be directed to email addresses and mobile device numbers.
- On a desktop browser: Go to My Profile on the website to set up and enable/disable email notifications and set up recipients at email addresses and SMS/text message numbers.
- On the iOS app: On the My Profile screen, you can enable/disable email notifications and set up recipients at email addresses and SMS/text message numbers.
- On the Android app: On the My Profile screen, you can enable/disable email notifications and set up recipients at email addresses and SMS/text message numbers..
Push Notifications
Exclusive to mobile devices
Whether or not the app is open, Push notifications alert you with a sound or vibration and onscreen message. Push notifications come strictly from the Remote Service app and should not be confused with notifications via SMS/text message.
Go to the Notifications settings screen to enable/disable Push notifications. Note that the setting affects only the device on which it is made.
