NETWORK CONDITIONS OUTSIDE YOUR PREMISES CAN PREVENT YOUR SECURITY PANEL FROM UPDATING THE REMOTE SERVICE ABOUT THE STATUS OF YOUR SYSTEM. 

A glitch in your internet connection can come and go without you noticing an interruption to other services.


If your security panel and the Remote Service show different states of readiness, you can prompt them to check with each other again by using the REFRESH STATUS button.

On the iOS app

  • If your account has more than one Location, select the one where you want to refresh status information
  • Touch More  on the bottom menu
  • Select  My Location
  • If necessary, scroll down to the REFRESH STATUS button
  • Touch REFRESH STATUS 
You are prompted to check the status of your system on the Security screen. If you want to do that, touch

If your control panel still disagrees with the Remote Service about system status, wait a few moments and try again. If this doesn’t resolve the conflicting status information, contact your security professional for help.

On the Android app

  • On the Home screen, use the menu...
  • ...to select Settings
  • Select Locations
  • Select Location Settings
  • Select the Location where you want to refresh status information
  • If necessary, scroll down to the REFRESH STATUS button
  • Touch REFRESH STATUS

On the website

  • Click on the left-hand menu
  • On the Locations list, click a location’s arrow to open its settings (You can also click EXPAND ALL to open the settings for all of your account’s locations)
