Your system displays (and announces if set to do so) "Not Ready" or ("Not ready to arm") when:
- A sensor has a Fault condition (for example, its door is ajar)
- A sensor has Trouble (for example, when it has been tampered with, has a low battery or is not communicating with the system)
- There is a current Alarm condition
The system also will not Arm when it is in Programming mode.
Fault and Trouble warnings are dismissed and the system becomes ready to arm if the problem is resolved or if the sensor is bypassed.
Alarms must be cleared from the remote service's virtual keypad (also called the onscreen keypad) or from your system's control panel. For more information, see the FAQ titled "How Do I Cancel/Dismiss alarms from the Virtual Keypad?".
