You can cancel some alarms via Remote Services.
- Door/window alarms and Trouble/Fault indications CAN be silenced and cleared from the Remote Services app or website.
- HOWEVER, Fire and CO (carbon monoxide) alarms can ONLY be cleared from the security system control panel on the premises.
On the iOS app:
- The app's keypad appears
- Depending on your security panel (the physical hardware at the location), you may have to click/select the 1 (Off) key after you enter the required user code.
- Entering the code once silences the alarm.
- Enter the code again to cancel the alarm.
On the Android app:
- The app's virtual keypad appears
- Depending on your security panel (the physical hardware at the location), you may have to click/select the 1 (Off) key after you enter the code.
- Entering the code once silences the alarm.
- Enter the code again to cancel the alarm.
On the website:
On the website's Security page, select Keypad.
- On the keypad, enter your user code.
- Depending on your security panel (the physical hardware at the location), you may have to click/select the 1 (Off) key after you enter the code.
- Entering the code once silences the alarm.
- Enter the code again to cancel the alarm.
