You can cancel some alarms via Remote Services.

  • Door/window alarms and Trouble/Fault indications CAN be silenced and cleared from the Remote Services app or website.
  • HOWEVER, Fire and CO (carbon monoxide) alarms can ONLY be cleared from the security system control panel on the premises.

On the iOS app:

  • On the app's Home screen, touch the keypad icon
  • The app's keypad appears
  • Depending on your security panel (the physical hardware at the location), you may have to click/select the 1 (Off) key after you enter the required user code.
  • Entering the code once silences the alarm.
  • Enter the code again to cancel the alarm.

On the Android app:

  • The menu button is present at upper left on most screens. Touch the menu button and then...
  • Touch
  • The app's virtual keypad appears
  • Depending on your security panel (the physical hardware at the location), you may have to click/select the 1 (Off) key after you enter the code.
  • Entering the code once silences the alarm.
  • Enter the code again to cancel the alarm.

On the website:

On the website's Security page, select Keypad.
  • On the keypad, enter your user code.
  • Depending on your security panel (the physical hardware at the location), you may have to click/select the 1 (Off) key after you enter the code.
  • Entering the code once silences the alarm.
  • Enter the code again to cancel the alarm.
