Your Remote Service and security system employ 4-digit or 6-digit codes to restrict certain functions to selected users. Such user codes are required for functions like arming/disarming, bypassing sensors with problems and numerous other operations.
In addition, a similar, special-use code can be set to trigger the system's Duress function.
Typically, the System Administrator is the homeowner or a parent who can perform all system functions.
Only the System Administrator and other Administrators can add and remove users or modify their settings. Settings include assigning security codes and user names.
