Android devices can act on a number of Remote Services voice commands without a smart speaker like Alexa or Google Assistant/Google Home.

As with some security system control panels, you can give the Remote Services app certain commands verbally. The Voice Control button must be visible in the corner of the app screen for voice control to work. Note that some screens are not intended to display this button.

To use voice control, press this button:

Depending on your settings, you may be required to enter a user code for certain operations. See the FAQ What does "Prompt for User Code" mean? under Profile Settings.  

Using Voice Commands

Make sure the Voice Control button is displayed at the bottom right corner of the screen. (For help, see the FAQ How do I display the onscreen shortcut for Voice Control?  
Tap  and wait for the tone, then say one of these command phrases:
  • Arm Stay
  • Arm Away
  • Disarm
  • Home (Returns display to the Home screen)
  • Sensors (Displays a list of your system’s sensors)
  • Keypad (Displays the on-screen or "virtual" keypad)
  • Events (Displays the Events list)
  • Settings (Opens the Settings menu)
  • Profile (Opens the Profile menu)
  • Location Settings (Opens the Locations menu)
  • Manage Locations (Opens the Manage Locations tab on the Locations menu)
  • Change Password (Opens the Profile menu for quick access to the Change Password tab)
  • Help (Opens the Help menu for access to these FAQs and other resources)
  • Sign Out (Exits the app; next time the app is used, your device will require sign-in)
