The Bypass feature lets you arm your system while deliberately (but temporarily) ignoring sensors that have a Fault or Trouble condition.
You may also wish to Bypass sensor/zones that you want to leave open, such as upstairs windows.
Bypassed sensors will not trigger an alarm if opened.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Bypassed zones are automatically cleared (un-bypassed) when the system is disarmed.
- Fire and Carbon Monoxide (CO) sensors cannot be bypassed
- The virtual "zone" representing a Fire panic button alarm cannot be bypassed.
- DON'T ignore sensors with Trouble conditions forever! Low batteries should be replaced and communication problems should be resolved at your earliest opportunity.
